Our History

In 1999, Bruce Abitz opened Gemini Studios, specializing in youth sports and fine arts capture for the Fairmont Area High School. With over 30 years of audio and video experience, Bruce is well versed in video capture techniques as well as media teaching experience.

Many of the students who have taken classes at Gemini Studios have used techniques and communication skills taught to succeed in their chosen field of interest.

In 2005, Shelly Abitz joined the Gemini Studios staff. Shelly has a Graphic Design degree and has illustrated two children’s books, “Bushy Tail Squirrel’s First Day Out” and “Jenny and Me”.

Shelly currently writes , films and edits a country soap opera“As the Corn Grows, as well as a weekly television show called Our Story for Our Story Studios.

Shelly has extensive experience with television commercials, logo design and graphic layout. Shelly is the executive producer for a local access show called ”Close to Home”.
