Bruce Abitz
Bruce has an extensive background in audio systems
installation and video productions. For the past to
over 30 years, Bruce has captured the majority of
Fairmont Area School events, both sporting and fine
arts. His professional career started in Law
Enforcement. After leaving a small town department,
Bruce obtained his Journeyman and Master’s Plumbing
license. With a strong background in music Bruce
opened Gemini Music and offered the Fairmont area a
full line of musical instruments and accessories for
25 years before closing in 2005 to concentrate solely
on video productions and PA installations. During this
time, Bruce began teaching video production skills to
students from Martin Luther, Fairmont, Truman and
Granada school districts as well as at Bethany College
in Mankato. Several of his students went on to pursue
successful careers in that field. Bruce Now spends
most of his time coaching and working with schools and

Shelly Abitz
Shelly started her career as a support assistant in the Time
Study and Methods Department at Fairmont Railway Motors. After
working there for seven years, Bruce and Shelly briefly moved to
Eagle Lake before returning to Fairmont and securing a job at
Martin County National Bank where she rose to the level of
Cashier and Senior Operations Officer. After 25 years with the
bank, downsizing offered her the oppportunity to return to
college and get a degree in Commercial and Technical Art. After
Graduation, Shelly joined Bruce and they closed their music
store and opened Gemini Studios. Shelly has completed well over
1000 video projects since 2005. She has produced several
nationally distributed DVDs for businesses and organizations in
the area. In 2010, Shelly's work was selected to recieve 2nd
place honors in the Golden Plump Chicken's national "Making a
Difference" video contest. Her body of work includes: writer for
a regional soap opera - "As the Corn Grows", over 200 business
commercials, live event capture of seminars, recitals, class
reunions, captial campaign videos, informational videos, as well
as illustrator for two books, "Jenny and Me" and "Bushy Tailed
Squirels First Day Out |

Jennifer Abitz
Jenne started her career working for a scale manufacturer, but
left to pursue an interest in dog grooming. Jenne spent several
years running Moose and Lady's Dog Grooming out of her home. She
joined the Gemini team as an administrative assistant while
still in high school. Since that time she has been instrumental
in live event capture, digital scrapbook projects,
audiotransfers and video production of city and business
commercials throughout a seven state area. She is knowledgeable
in Adobe Photoshop and Premier video software and has produced
well over 200 business videos during the past four years

John Duderstadt Jr.
John is an affiliate producer and owns his production company,
Duderstadt Video Productions. John is sub-contracted by Gemini
Studios to do live video shoots, voice over work, PA
installation, web streamingand video production projects for
Gemini Studios. John also does video capture and live streaming
for the City of Fairmont and the Fairmont Area School District.
John has worked with Martin Luther High School students as a
community expert, teaching media production skills, live shoot
techniques and script writing. He has experience with the
Tri-Caster Virtual Studio, live web streaming, website building
and management, audio and video installation Adobe Premiere,
Photoshop and more |
